Slowing Down Today

Still not settled. I believe it will happen eventually and I'm trying not to panic too much and I could have done some more moving today but would have missed out on caring for my nephew, Patrick. He makes me slow down and laugh a lot!
The corgis just add to the delightfulness of my nephew and even though this picture was taken with my mediocre camera phone I just couldn't pass on sharing it. I have no idea what they are looking at, but boy it was a joy witnessing it!

When Corgis Help Make the Bed

Camera still buried. No Internet at the new house. Equals older funny pics of corgis!
The Corgis help with EVERYTHING, including making the bed (they so generously share with Perry and me). So while I take sheets off the bed I end up with this...a Jack Burrito.

Life MOVES On

We recently made a decision to get our financial house in order which means selling our house and moving into a less expensive home, that said we've been moving and I've been offline for a few days. Because my camera is packed I thought I'd share a photo of the boys from this past winter.
I believe this after our morning walk and I'm stretching, everything I do they feel they must be a part of. Nothing like an audience while you're in downward dog!

Lunch Break

Jack loves to sit on his humans. He will turn around and sit on your head, lap or foot, whatever is available upon which to place his Corgi bottom.

We took our lunch break in the back yard to enjoy this day, the day Autumn Begins. I thought a picture of my mini pumpkin patch would be an appropriate way to welcome Fall.

The Dog Days of Summer

It is the last day of Summer. Where did it go? Our summer started a bit late this year and although it seems to be hanging on I'm feeling melancholy for the season already. Its seeming quick end hasn't quite registered with me and I thought posting pics of the Corgis enjoying a trip at Lahontan was apropos. Jack has camped with us at Lahontan, his first summer, but this was Joe's first time camping at the lake. I believe both Corgis (and humans) enjoyed the camping trip. I am, and I'm sure they are, already looking forward to next year...camping in our vintage trailer and doing camping things. Today I'll sign off while Summer is still in my heart.
