Trip Without Corgis

I miss my Corgis when I travel and have to leave them at home. I do like having the bed all to myself, but there is something to waking up with their bodies pressed against each side of mine. That said, I believe they would not have been quite as impressed with the Hoover Dam as I was.
The architecture is simply brilliant

Going Back In Time

It's not often that I want to go back in time, in fact, I never do, but this "spring" weather is making me ache for the last warm a beautiful day in April I spent SUPing with my Corgis. It has been frigid here for many more days in a row than normal. Any season in Northern Nevada can produce a few blustery, cold, snowy days, but honestly, is it really May? I inadvertently ended up on a two and half hour walk with the Corgis this morning sans gloves and ended up with frozen hands that wouldn't work and chilled to my core, ever more reason to relive that beautiful day on the marina.

Trying new things

Not everyone likes to try new things. Change is hard. I’m proud to say that the Corgis took to this new thing quite well. A few training sessions…consisting of sitting down with them calmly and with Goldfish for treats, of course. In and out, in and out. In, sit, out. In, sit, stay, out. In, sit, stay for a little while longer, out. Goldfish, Goldfish, Goldfish. And now I’m the proud owners of two Corgis who travel with us in a crate!

Strange Things I Have Not Seen

I don't know about you, but I have NEVER seen geese in a tree. But, that's what we saw on our morning Corgi Walk. Geese in a tree.
